Inflation Guidelines for Our Fenders
For optimal performance, we recommend inflating your fenders to no more than 5 PSI. When properly inflated, you should see a slight indentation when pressing the surface with your finger or thumb—this indicates there's room for air expansion on hot days.
While our fenders are built with durable welded seams, over inflation can lead to damage over time, so we strongly advise against using an air compressor for inflation.
Each fender is fitted with a Halkey-Roberts (HR) air valve, a trusted standard found on inflatable pads, islands, SUPs, and kayaks, making inflation and deflation simple and reliable.
